Recording retention is now available so that recordings uploaded to our cloud can be automatically cleaned up after a given period. This feature is not turned on for any accounts by default at the moment, but email our support team and we are happy to enable it for you.
Retention has three variables; the number of days since a recording was created for it to be a candidate for automatic deletion, the number of days that must have passed since the last playback or share creation for it to remain a candidate, and the number of days after being marked for automatic deletion, that it will be automatically deleted.
The affected video creators, and all administrators on the account, receive a warning email when the weekly job that marks recordings for automatic deletion is run and marks one or more videos.
In addition to video retention, this release also updates all translations for 9 of 10 available languages (Icelandic is delayed).
