How do I get set up?

Get started using the following steps:

  1. Using the Google Chrome browser, click here and install our Chrome Extension.
  2. Click the CrankWheel button in your browser. It looks like the logo at the top of this page. This will cause the CrankWheel control panel to open.
  3. Within the control panel, when prompted, log in using Facebook, LinkedIn, your Google account, or a CrankWheel account you already created using your email and a password. If you need to create an account using your email address, you can click the Sign Up button.
  4. After you have logged in, click one of the buttons labeled "share a browser tab", "share a program window" or "share full screen" to start sharing content from your screen and to reveal the options for inviting your customer to the screen sharing session.

If you just signed up for the first time using your email address (rather than e.g. using Facebook or LinkedIn to sign in), you need to check your email inbox for an email from that contains a link you need to click to verify your email address.
