If you are using Safari, please note that the version of Safari that comes with Ventura, 16.3, has problems performing screen sharing, not just with CrankWheel but with all other web conferencing solutions that we have tested.
You can check which version of Safari you have by launching Safari, clicking the Safari menu next to the Apple menu in the top-left corner of your screen, then "About Safari". This will show the version information for Safari.
The solution if you are running Safari 16.3 is to upgrade to Safari 16.4, this is possible as follows:
-
Click Apple menu (top right of screen)
-
Click "System Preferences..."
-
Click "Software Update"
-
Wait a few seconds for it to update if needed, then click "More info..." below "Other updates are available"
-
In the list that shows, uncheck everything except Safari 16.4 and then let that update
Using another browser
